Wiederin (Baumhover) - Kuemper Staff Appreciation Awards

As time passed and we reflected on our younger years, Lori and I were always proud to have grown up in Carroll and been part of the Kuemper Community.  Even though we haven’t lived in Carroll since our college years, we are still well connected to Kuemper as our parents, siblings, nieces/nephews, and now great-nephews reside in Carroll.  We’ve always felt that teachers, coaches, and school support staff give so much of their time and talents to make a difference in a child’s life.  Unfortunately the recognition doesn’t always come their way like it should; so by establishing these annual awards, it’s our small token to recognize, thank, and show some extra appreciation for a special group within the Kuemper Community.

Nominate a staff member to become this year's Wiederin (Baumhover)- Kuemper Staff Appreciation Awards recipient.  Kuemper will award 5 Difference Makers with a cash award of $1000!  Award winners are chosen based on nomination and not necessarily based on category. 

Nominee's Category (Choose One):

• Teacher from PreK-4
• Teacher from Grades 5-8
• Teacher from Grades 9-12
• Coach/Extra-Curricular Activity Moderator
• Support Staff (secretary, custodian, cook, nurse, etc.)

  Criteria for Nomination (Choose One):
  1. Excellence in Service: Describe how the nominee has consistently demonstrated excellence in their role and has exceeded in serving the Kuemper community.
  
  2. Innovation and Creativity: Explain how the nominee has introduced innovative and creative approaches to their work or teaching, positively impacting students and colleagues.
  
  3. Leadership and Mentorship: Highlight instances where the nominee has shown leadership qualities, including mentorship and the positive influence they've had on others.
  
  4. Community Engagement: Share how the nominee has engaged with and contributed to the broader Kuemper community, including parents, students, and stakeholders.
  
  5. Commitment to Kuemper Values: Explain how the nominee's actions align with Kuemper's core values and contribute to the school's mission.
  
  Award Amount:

Each Difference Maker winner will receive a cash award of $1,000. *Winners will be chosen by nomination and not necessarily by category.
