Discover Kuemper Preschool Night was so much fun!  It took place on Wednesday, March 10. There were a lot of excited #FutureKnights, parents, teachers, and staff! We're so excited for next year!

Preschool Registration for the 2021/2022 School Year

Step One - Fill Out Interest Survey Now 

Preschool Interest Survey by Carroll Community School District

Carroll Community School District (CCSD) has published the first phase of preschool registration for the 21/22 school year.  Students must be 4 years old on or before September 15, 2021. 

The purpose of the interest survey is to gather contact information for all those who will have a preschooler for the 21/22 year. When the official online registration is made live this summer,  all those who have filled out this survey will be notified that the official registration is live.

Filling out the interest survey is imperative to the preschool registration process. Please complete this important step!

Step Two - Submit Required Paperwork

Parents and guardians are asked to submit required paperwork for their future preschooler this spring. Parents should submit the following paperwork:
1. Copy of the child's birth certificate
2. Copy of the child's immunizations record
3. Copy of the child's most recent physical
4.  Filled out Home Language Survey

Paperwork can be submitted via one of the options below:
A. Bring to Open House this spring - see above for information
B. Mail to Joan Halbur, elementary secretary, at 201 S. Clark Street, Carroll, IA 51401
C. Scan and email to Joan Halbur, elementary secretary, at
D. Drop off at Holy Spirit Elementary at 201 S. Clark Street, Carroll, IA 51401

#FutureKnights Birthday List

By signing your child up for the #FutureKnights Birthday list, you will be notified ASAP when preschool registration opens for your child's respective year. They will also receive birthday cards for their 1st-4th birthdays!

Preschool Facebook Group

By joining Kuemper's private facebook group Kuemper Catholic Preschool Information 21 -22,  you will become part of an online community in which resources are shared and parents can get to know each other.  Members of the group will be notified when any new information comes out, will see features on preschool teachers and staff, and get an inside look at current preschool activities. General Information for 2021/2022 School Year

Students must be 4 years old on or before September 15, 2021.

Partnership with Carroll Community School District
Kuemper collaborates with Carroll Community School District (CCSD) for the state funded (tuition free) four-year-old preschool program. When registering for preschool, families have the option to choose Kuemper or CCSD for their child's preschool site.

Preschool is Monday through Friday throughout the school year and runs in half-day sessions. There are morning and afternoon sessions.
Morning Session: 8:00am-11:00am
Afternoon Session: 12:00pm-3:00pm


Morning and afternoon busing is provided on the Carroll Community and Kuemper bus routes. Noon bus transportation is provided for students within the Carroll Community School District.

KuemperCares Program for Preschool and Optional Kindergarten
Kuemper's childcare program KuemperCares offers half-day childcare that compliments the half-day preschool classes. This program alleviates parent's worries about finding transportation for their child in the middle of the school day, especially for families that live outside the school district!
