Planned Giving

A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date.

The Kuemper Catholic School Foundation Funds

General Foundation Fund
This fund was established in 1985 under the leadership of Rev. Thomas Geelan and the beginning of the Kuemper Development Office.

Fr. Kuemper Society Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund
This fund pays tribute to Kuemper's fonuder, Fr. Joseph Kuemper, and helps provides tuition assistance for over 57% of our students who choose Catholic education.

Teacher Salary Enhancement Fund
This fund was established in 2001 to help close the salary gap between the public and non-public schools. The Kuemper Catholic School System has dedicated teachers and 23 of them have over 20 years of longevity in the school system. Investments from this fund are used to help support the salaries of the dedicated staff.

Options for Planned Giving

Bequest
Bequest through a will is the most common way of making a planned gift.

Life Insurance
By using life insurance to make a charitable gift, it is often possible to make a gift larger than ever thought possible.

Charitable Gift Annuity
Charitable gift annuities are among the oldest and most simplified ways of giving. You can receive a fixed annuity payment each year for life.

Charitable Remainder Trust
Remainder trusts make it possible for a donor to make a gift, receive a charitable deduction and receive income for life.

Cash
Donations of cash always benefit the school.

All planned gifts (including bequests, life income agreements, and gifts of retirement plans), unless otherwise designated, are added to Kuemper's General Foundation. Unrestricted gifts to the Kuemper Catholic School Foundation provide the most flexibility as to how your gift will be used.
